Blake's Smiles worked as a vendor for the 2018 Autism Speaks Walk in Indianapolis. Team members handed out free Smiles, shared Blake's story and mission, and collected donations that went back to Autism Speaks. Blake's Smiles very own Blake also sang the National Anthem at the event!

Blake's Smiles collaborated with local Indianapolis CPA Firm, Dauby, O'Connor & Zaleski, LLC during their 2018 Summer Office Visit. DOZ hosts the event for college students who have interest in working for them after graduation. The event involves an "outreach segment" where the students do a charitable project to understand how involved DOZ is with giving back. Blake and his team instructed a room full of 60 students on how to make his Smiles. These Smiles were then donated to various organizations in hopes to spread the Smiles.

No Label at the Table is a local Indianapolis Gluten and dairy free baked goods company that is employed by young adults on the spectrum. Blake's Smiles donates Smiles to the bakery to be handed out with baked goods, as well as works with the bakery at various art festivals all in the hopes to raise Autism Awareness.

Blake's Smiles participated in the 2018 World Art Drop day on September 6th. The event invites local artists to hide their art around the Indianapolis area and use their social media outlets to leave clues as to where the art is hidden, in hopes that a lucky recipient will find the free art. The artist also attached a tag to their art so the recipient may find them on social media or visit their websites to view and potentially get more of their art.

One of Blake's favorite organizations to give back to is Riley Children's Foundation in Downtown Indianapolis, IN. Blake made a donation to the foundation that will help fund various areas of need in the hospital. Blake hope to collaborate more in the future with Riley Children'd Foundation. He says he loves to share Smiles with the Riley kids and their families, because he believes they need them the most.

The BackPack Program is a project through Feeding America that provides food on the weekend to students who need extra nutrition. Blake's school, Carmel High School, participates in this program to make sure all of their students are getting the nutrition they need. Blake raised $250 from his Smiles that he was then able to donate back to the program.

Blake instructed Girl Scout Troop 2409 on how to make his Smiles. The troop also learned about Autism, did a separate puzzle piece craft, and shared lots of Smiles!

Blake used some of the money he raised from his Smiles to support a Riley family for the Christmas season. With medical bills in the picture the family wasn't sure that they were going to have a Christmas at all, but Blake didn't want to let that happen! He did the shopping himself and was able to get gifts for all three of the family's children.
